CRR encompasses over 40 acres of land, comprising of lush rainforest, breathtaking rocky cliffs and has an abundance of native flora and fauna. At CRR, specialised ecotourist activities are offered. Leon Fuller, a local expert and author on the Illawarra escarpment and it’s indigenous flora, is the principal guide for our ecotourist activities. Leon set the precedent for using indigenous plants within the landscape at the University of Wollongong and has published two renowned books on the Illawarra Escarpment: Wollongong”s Native Trees and Native Trees of Central Illawarra. Leon’s personal passion for native plants in the Illawarra has seen him specialising in the area for more than 35 years and has seen his fascination in the diversity and beauty of plants extend to those around him.

On site, visitors can also enjoy a swim in our luscious chemical-free bionova pool, a sauna and steam room facilities. There are a multitude of secluded spots for a picnic and CRR is able to provide lunch and/or morning and afternoon tea, suited to your needs. Additionally, all walks can be individually tailored to your interests and needs. Disabled access is provided to all facilities at CRR.

CRR would like to welcome you to our little paradise and help you discover the beauty of the Illawarra Escarpment.
